ABOW is one of the supporting projects of Farm to School.  Each year, many parents, teachers and community members make generous gifts to sustain  Farm to School. A variety of giving tools is offered. You can make a gift of cash, stocks, bonds, real estate, IRA, life insurance or other assets. Most charitable gifts qualify for maximum tax advantage under federal law. If you are not already part of our family of supporters, we invite you to learn more and to join us.

Special Thanks to Rishi Vrema, Sarah Dolnick, and Jasman Gill, our U C Davis Interns for their guidance.

Artisan Baking on Wheels has been selected as a project for the Community Consulting Group at the UC Davis Graduate School of Management.  This project is a ‘win-win’ partnership, in which MBA candidates have the opportunity to earn academic credits while applying their skills to a real-world project, and ABOW gains valuable business insights and expertise.  Sarah Dolnick, Jasman Gill, and Rishi Verma are interns from the MBA programs at the Davis, Sacramento, and Bay Area campuses, respectively.  Sarah, Jasman, and Rishi selected the ABOW project for its exciting goals, as well as its initiative to support educational programs promoting healthy food choices and respect for the land and environment.

The interns will be preparing a business plan for ABOW and advising on feasibility, strategy, financing, and marketing issues.  The Community Consulting Group (CCG) at Graduate School of Management, built on UC Davis’ tradition of community service, provides a valuable professional service for nonprofit and community-oriented organizations by helping them resolve their complex management issues.
